Seedlings Class
The Seedlings class is geared toward children who are moving independently (running, stacking, building) (~24-36 months old) .
During these toddler years, children are learning to fine-tune their developmental skills. They are learning how to move their bodies in different ways and may have the fine motor coordination to stack and build. They may also have the ability to express themselves more and are establishing more complex relationships with their peers! Silly imaginative pretend play is at high speed during this time… Does anyone else’s kids pretend to be flies while you’re the frog? 😂
What’s included?
Each 60 minute class consists of 45 minutes of facilitated time that includes songs geared towards speech and language development, specific movement activities targeting more nuanced motor skills and a sensory component. Each week a different developmental area will be targeted. During the last 15 minutes of class developmentally-appropriate toys and manipulatives are placed throughout the room, while children and caregivers socialize and enjoy themselves.
